Privacy Policy

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, Sudhoo.com collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Sudhoo.com's purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Sudhoo.com's visitors use its website. From time to time, Sudhoo.com may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

Sudhoo.com also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. Sudhoo.com does not use such information to identify its visitors, however, and does not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information, as described below.

Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

Certain visitors to Sudhoo.com's websites choose to interact with Sudhoo.com in ways that require Sudhoo.com to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Sudhoo.com gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. In each case, Sudhoo.com collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor's interaction with Sudhoo.com. Sudhoo.com may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites. For instance, Sudhoo.com may reveal what search terms are performed in any given period of time.  However, Sudhoo.com does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information

Sudhoo.com discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on Sudhoo.com's behalf or to provide services available at Sudhoo.com's websites, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Cookies

A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor's computer, and that the visitor's browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. Sudhoo.com uses cookies to help Sudhoo.com identify and track visitors, their usage of Sudhoo.com website, and their website access preferences. Sudhoo.com visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using Sudhoo.com's websites, with the drawback that certain features of Sudhoo.com's websites may not function properly without the aid of cookies.

Sudhoo uses certain Google and Microsoft services that require their own policy to which you need to agree with.  The Google privacy policy is located http://www.google.com/privacypolicy.html and the Microsoft privacy policy is located http://privacy.microsoft.com/en-us/fullnotice.mspx.  Use of any Sudhoo service shall me that the user agrees with both of these policies along with this Sudhoo privacy policy.  One paragraph to highlight from the Google privacy policy is:

"We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our website. These companies may use information (not including your name, address, email address, or telephone number) about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. If you would like more information about this practice and to know your choices about not having this information used by these companies, click here."

Privacy Policy Changes

Although most changes are likely to be minor, Sudhoo.com may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and in Sudhoo.com's sole discretion. Sudhoo.com encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy. Your continued use of this site after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.

The above Privacy Policy is released under the Creative Commons Share alike license.  You are more then welcome to use this license for your own website, all we ask is that you remove all of our references and replace it with your own information.  This license is adapted from the Privacy Policy that Wordpress has created for there own website and they use the same license that we use for this document.  You can find their Privacy Policy at http://wordpress.org/about/privacy/ and may want to use their website as your reference point since they cover some area that is not applicable to our site.
