Coolest DBZ Characters

Very few people can forget the names Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, Krillin, and Frieza. These are just a few of the best characters the show had to offer. The Saiyan race was by far one of the coolest things about the show. With all the characters the show had to offer, the coolest would have to have been the greatest Saiyans, Goku and Vegeta. (Granted Broly was stronger than them at some point, I think he’s just an overhyped brute.)
Goku, son of Bardock and who’s birth name is Kakorot, is the best character that the show had. He may be the main character built from the previous show of Dragonball, but he also was the strongest and coolest of them all. Anytime he died, he would have died due to some stupid reason, not because a stronger opponent had beaten him (Frieza excluded for any other die hard DBZ fans.) He never stopped getting stronger, even when he was dead, he was stronger than any other fighter within the show. He was the first to turn Super Saiyan from the main cast, the first to turn Super Saiyan 4, and defeated (or was able to defeat) almost all the major villains within the show. His signature Kamehameha Wave is one of the best attacks that existed in the DBZ world and only could be bested by his Golden Dragon Fist, in my opinion. He helped to train the strongest fighters within the universe and beat down basically anyone who tried to fight him. The best part about him was how they made the universe’s strongest fighter into such a gentle giant. He helped everyone he was able to, like by defeating the red ribbon army, saving the Namekians, etc. His kindness is what gave the show a semblance of a storyline and allowed him to find stronger and weirder opponents. Overall, he was the strongest and best character the show had.
Vegeta, Prince of the Saiyans, was also one of the coolest characters of the show. Always one step behind Goku in strength and skill, he always strove to best his enemy-turned rival. His famed Galick Gun and Big Bang Attack don’t really hold a candle to Goku’s Kamehameha but are still pretty cool. He lost to someone who did not have the same type of training that he had received and had pride to be envied by others. If Vegeta couldn’t do something, he worked his ass off in order to accomplish it and that is why he was able to destroy Androids 19 and 20. He doesn’t seem like the type to get married, but he soon became whipped by Bulma and had kids with her. His later admittance of Goku’s superiority over him shows that he knows when he is beaten and can accept a total loss. When he combines with Goku, first to form Vegeto and later on to form Gogeta, the strongest fighter in the entire series shows up. They are able to come together and defeat any opponent, whether it be Cooler, Buu, or Super Demon Shenron.
These two are the best characters according to me. If you guys have opinions that state otherwise, then respond. Like I say, “To each their own.”
